About this property

Welcome to Killarney Wilderness Inn

Located at 220 Geates St in Killarney, MB, the Killarney Wilderness Inn offers a practical choice for travelers seeking clean and comfortable accommodations. This 4-star rated hotel blends elements of an inn, motel, and extended stay property, providing a straightforward lodging experience with a focus on simple, tidy rooms. Guests often note the cozy atmosphere and country cottage feel, making it a quiet place to rest while visiting the area.

The property caters to visitors looking for basic amenities and a kid-friendly environment, with features such as a well-maintained kitchenette area that includes a microwave, fridge, and coffee maker. While the hotel does not offer a full-service restaurant or extensive amenities, guests appreciate the cleanliness of the rooms and the welcoming attitude of the staff. Some reviews mention the availability of complementary breakfast options, although this is more of a self-service setup rather than a staffed dining experience.

Positioned near local attractions like the J. A. V. David Museum and Pelican Lake, the hotel serves well those interested in sightseeing and outdoor recreation. Free access to the nearby Shamrock Centre gym is a noted benefit for active guests. Transportation options include Brandon Municipal Airport, approximately a one-hour drive away by car.

While feedback is generally positive regarding comfort and location, some remarks highlight limited operating hours for staff presence and the absence of certain amenities. This makes the Killarney Wilderness Inn a suitable option primarily for travelers seeking a straightforward place to stay rather than a full-service hotel experience. Nearby accommodations such as the Emerald Isle Motel & Resort provide alternatives within close distance.

There are no amenities. There is no continental breakfast. Staff is only on sight from 12 pm until 5 pm. The rooms, however, are clean and tidy. The bed was quite comfortable. It's not the Ritz, but if you are simply looking for a clean and comfortable place to spend the night, this will definitely do.

Great place for an overnight stop while traveling. Friendly front desk service, clean rooms, cozy motel. .... love the front entrance decor ... it gives you a warm and welcoming country cottage feel.

This quaint hotel is definitely worth staying at. The mattress was amazing. The room was extremely clean, including the carpet. Coldest fridge I've ever used in a hotel. There is an ice machine and even a large freezer for guests to use. Staff was very friendly. The only 2 things that were not enjoyable were the heavy use of fabric softener on the linens and how loud the bathroom fan was.

Great location in killarney, right beside the Shamrock centre. We get free gym access to the Shamrock centre which makes it really convenient to get a work out in. Rooms are nice and cozy with everything you would typically expect. Staff are friendly and accommodating as well. You can help yourself to an array of breakfast options in the kitchen, but don't expect a staffed restaurant buffet. Overall a pretty great stay. Would stay again!

So far just as the Boissevain location, this hotel has great modern comfy clean rooms. Service is warm and welcoming same hunting lodge kinda of lobby, breakfast is available at the golf course. Don't think it will be at 530 when we go to work but hey. Less amenities seemingly but in all fairness jist pulled in and havent explored yet, will update on that. Will say this if your thinking about staying in Ninette because of the lake and staying at it's ONLY hotel in that town DON'T!!! Bring a camper or tent lots of that there and if thats not your style come stay with these guys. The half hour drive to the lake will be worth it. Your experience with the showers at Canadian Wilderness Inn will be clean and spacious shower and not be showers with black mold that seem to belong in a prison maybe like 2 ft by ft box. Both Canadian in locations are wicked and hope they make more! Garden my stuff in the pics I just got in

Clean and decent lodging. Looks like it’s pretty new. Free complementary breakfast included when you check in. Friendly staff. Regular housekeeping service. Has all amenities you need (microwave, fridge, TV, single coffee maker). Nice bathroom. Adequate parking space. Quiet surroundings. Stayed here from night shifts and was able to recharge & sleep.
